Hourly Rate: £14.66 per hour (Overtime paid after 50 hours)
Start Date: Immediate start available
Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a new challenge? We are currently seeking 2 dedicated Concrete Mixer Drivers to join our client’s team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where safety, reliability, and professionalism are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safe and timely delivery of concrete to various customer sites.
* Represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
* Communicate effectively with the Concrete Batcher, Transport Manager, and customers.
* Provide feedback on delivery conditions or issues as needed.
* Use company IT systems including tablets and smartphones.
* Comply with Tachograph rules and transport legislation.
* Contribute to a positive team environment.
What We’re Looking For:
* A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
* Preferably 2+ years of commercial driving experience.
* Good understanding of vehicle mechanics.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Confident communication and customer service abilities.
* Familiarity with the local area is beneficial.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (hours may vary based on production demands)
* Every 3rd Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:30 PM
* Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities
