Role: Collections Agent

Location: Doncaster, UK


Job Description

We are seeking passionate and driven individuals to join our elite team of Collections Agents in Doncaster. As a Collections Agent, you will help individuals navigate their financial challenges with dignity and respect.


Key Responsibilities

* Multichannel Communication: Utilize telephony, email, SMS, and digital systems to engage with customers and complete administrative tasks efficiently.
* Empathetic Approach: Be the first point of contact for customers in arrears, conducting compassionate conversations to uncover root causes of financial difficulties.
* Tailored Solutions: Negotiate affordable and sustainable payment plans based on each customer\'s circumstances.
* Resource Referral: Guide customers to free and independent money advice organisations or internal support services for assistance.
* Regulatory Compliance: Operate in accordance with FCA conduct rules, Consumer Duty, Data Protection Act, and GDPR.
* Customer-Centric Mindset: Demonstrate a customer-first approach and aim for the right outcomes on the first contact.
* Personal Development: Engage with personal development plans and respond to coaching and feedback.
* Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training to understand end-to-end processes and provide clear guidance to customers.


What We Are Looking For

* Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in documentation and regulatory compliance.
* Regulatory Environment Exposure: Familiarity with regulated financial environments is advantageous but not essential.

Additional Information

* This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, with working hours 8:00–18:00 (Mon–Fri) and 9:00–12:00 (Sat).

* Casual/smart attire in a supportive work environment.
