Railway Engineering and Track Maintenance Apprenticeship Apprentice Salary: £7.55 per hour Our client is pleased to announce their new Railway Engineering and Track Maintenance Apprenticeship in Abercynon. Whilst no specific qualifications are required, our client is keen to recruit professional, organised and driven individuals. To be considered for this exciting and rewarding opportunity, candidates must not: Must not hold any rail-related qualifications. Must not hold an engineering qualification at level 3 or above. Must not be working towards any other funded apprenticeship programme. Candidates must: Have a basic level of English and Mathematics - As this is a level 2 framework, Level 1 English and Mathematics will be required. Be physically and medically fit. Be free of any controlled substances. Be willing to travel. Be living in Wales. Be willing to undertake manual labour in all weather conditions. Be willing to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends (nationwide) in a safety critical environment and as part of a wider team.
