Job Overview
You will join a team of lecturers responsible for delivering education in Further Education and/or Higher Education courses in Health and Social Care and Childcare.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver engaging lectures in line with your area of expertise.
* Administer assessments and ensure quality assurance practices throughout the teaching cycle.
* Support students in developing both linguistic and subject knowledge for bilingual studies.
* Engage with curriculum development and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation, policy and contemporary issues in the Children’s Development and Education sector or Healthcare sector.
* Participate in department meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Recent experience working in nursing, health care, social work, social care, children’s care and development, or similar roles.
* A sound understanding of current legislation, policy and contemporary issues in the relevant sector.
* Teaching experience at Level 2, 3, or higher is desirable.
Employment Details
* Salary: £27,239.53 – £42,106.10 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience).
* Place of Work: Dolgellau.
* Part‑time Fixed‑term contract, 30 hours per week (approximately 19–21 hours of teaching plus up to 4 hours off‑site).
* Holiday entitlement: 46 days leave per annum, including all normally observed public holidays and up to 5 days efficiency closure days. Part‑time contracts receive a pro‑rated entitlement.
* Pension: Teachers Pension Scheme.
