Technical Engineer – Generator Rental Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Technical Engineer to manage the technical performance, maintenance, and reliability of our generator rental fleet. You will handle servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and on-site support to ensure our generators deliver uninterrupted power for customers. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel generators and associated equipment. Manage and conduct on-site installations, commissioning, and customer support Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Support the team with technical advice and training. Apprentice mentor and support Training of new and current colleagues Requirements: Degree/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 5 years’ experience working with industrial generators (Cummins, Iveco, etc.). Strong knowledge of generator engines, alternators, and control systems. Experience in power generation preferred. Full UK driving licence.
