Overview
You will play a central role in strengthening and supporting our security culture by ensuring all MBDA UK individuals understand security risks that could impact the business and its people. You will shape how individuals recognise and respond to existing and emerging security risks, whilst translating security information into clear and actionable guidance. In this role, you will monitor and assess a wide range of information feeds to ensure that relevant insights are analysed and communicated to the business appropriately to support informed decision making. You will also deliver bespoke briefings to different areas of the business across all MBDA UK sites, covering a variety of security awareness and travel security topics to strengthen the mitigation of security risks. Additionally, you will maintain and develop positive relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and relevant bodies. Promoting a collaborative approach to security across all functions.
Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke briefings to different areas of the business across all MBDA UK sites, covering a variety of security awareness and travel security topics to strengthen the mitigation of security risks.

Qualifications
* Proven experience in delivering awareness or training, preferably within a security focussed environment.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to challenge, advise and communicate information confidently and clearly to all audiences across the business.
* An understanding of security related disciplines and handling of sensitive information.
* Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to turn information into assessment-based actions.
* A proactive approach to working, particularly when updating or delivering security initiatives and projects.
* Ability to hold Security Vetting level of Security Clearance.

Salary and requirements
Salary: Circa £35,000 depending on experience. Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification. Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
