About the role
As a Beauty Guide, you'll be involved in creating the ultimate cosmetic shopping experience for our customers through personalised appointments, shop floor demonstrations, and events. You'll help customers discover the best products from across our Beauty Hall, providing inspirational and impartial beauty and skincare advice. Additionally, you'll create social media content to showcase our latest trends and offers.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitating appointments with customers and hosting beauty talk events for larger groups as part of a team.
* Thinking creatively and commercially to maximize sales and profit opportunities.
* Creating memorable shopping experiences that leave a positive impression of you and the John Lewis brand.
* Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in make-up and skincare.
* Creating social media content to be shared with John Lewis followers.
Essential skills/experience you'll need
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to demonstrate makeup and skincare techniques.
* Keen interest in beauty and awareness of current trends.
Desirable skills/experience
* Previous experience in a beauty or skincare role (beneficial but not essential).
* Experience in creating social media content.
Various full-time hours required, including 4 weekend days per month.
