We're partnering with a top Manchester-based agency in hyper-growth mode to find a dynamic Operations Director. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a scaling agency, building the structures, processes, and culture needed to deliver world-class creative work at pace. You MUST have a proven track record working in a similar role, ideally in an agency or more creative environment.
The Role
As Operations Director, you'll sit at the heart of the agency - ensuring projects run smoothly, teams are supported, and growth is underpinned by smart, scalable operations. You'll be hands-on in implementing new processes, streamlining delivery, and driving efficiency without losing the creative spark that makes this agency special.
This isn't just about managing the now - it's about building for the future. You'll play a pivotal role in taking the agency from a 20-person team to 50+ people over the next few years, designing and embedding the operational backbone that makes sustainable growth possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and evolve operational processes to support rapid agency growth.
* Oversee project delivery across multiple accounts and creative teams.
* Drive efficiency in resourcing, workflow, and budget management.
* Partner with senior leadership to shape long-term growth strategy.
* Implement best-in-class project management frameworks and tools.
* Scale the agency's people, processes, and systems in line with ambitious growth targets.
* Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and operational excellence.
About You
* Proven track record in project delivery and operations leadership, ideally in an agency or creative environment.
* Experience scaling teams and processes, ideally growing from a boutique to a mid-sized agency/business.
* Skilled in resource planning, project management, and workflow optimisation.
* Strong communicator with the ability to influence and inspire teams at every level.
* Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets and driving profitability.
* Comfortable balancing strategic vision with hands-on delivery.
