The Role
We are looking for a Residential Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our successful Residential Property Department as an Associate or Senior Associate. The role will primarily be based in our Marks Tey office.
Day-to-day, you will handle a varied caseload encompassing the full spectrum of conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages on freehold and leasehold properties, lease extensions, Transfers of Equity, Transfers of Part, small development sales, and Regulated and Unregulated finance matters. Proven knowledge of trust matters and their impact on residential property transactions is also required.
Our employees are encouraged to engage in business development and marketing. Therefore, the successful candidate must be commercially aware, with excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
What Experience Do I Need?
This role is suitable for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive seeking career growth. The right candidate will have excellent client care skills, a flexible approach to client contact, and confidence in the technical aspects of Residential Property and Land Law. Proven experience in delivering high-quality residential property work independently and supporting junior team members is essential.
