Job Title: Warehouse Operative – Restock & Work Orders
Job Location: Chepstow, Newhouse Farm Industrial Estate, NP16 6UD
Salary: £26,386.95 based on working an average of 37.5 hours per week.
There are two weekly shift patterns. Week one is 6am – 2pm, with a 12pm finish on Fridays and week two is 2pm – 11pm, with a 6pm finish on Fridays

Picture a warehouse. Now make it bigger. Now double its size. When your main product is Aluminium used in windows, doors, conservatories and Balustrades you need a lot of space. To give you a realistic idea, you could fit four full-sized football pitches in our warehouse.
We produce tonnes of aluminium systems on a daily basis. Our production team are always working to make sure we have the stock we need for our customers, when they need it. Once they've finished making our products, we need someone to make sure they're sorted and stored in our dispatch stock area. That person, could be you.
You'll be trained on how to use our sales order processing systems, and how to recognise each product – All we need from you is a willingness to learn, and team player mentality, and the physical fitness to be able to keep our customers happy by making sure their orders are shipped out on time.
As a warehouse operative, you'll be in a very physical job. You'll spend your days preparing on average 300 bars of Aluminium to be sent out to our customers. These aren't light – Some of the bars are up to 25kg in weight (Don't worry, we'd expect two people to lift this size).
A day in the life of a Warehouse Operative will involve:
* Checking and storing Aluminium frames in our dispatch area – This could be up to 300 bars per day, so you'll need lots of energy.
* Safely loading our frames, ensuring the right products are going to the right place for our dispatch team to access easily.
* Keeping our system up to date with stock numbers, and what has been done so our customer service team know what to say if someone calls and asks.
* Playing a part in stocktakes when required, to make sure we have the right stock available at the right times.
* Working in a safe way to look after yourself, your colleagues, and the material we sell.
To be a successful Warehouse Operative, you'll need:
* To be physically fit. Some of our team members do over 15,000 steps per day And move around over a tonne of Aluminium.
* To be willing to learn about our processes and products, and how to use our software.
* To be able to commit to our working pattern and be able to get to our warehouse. Public transport can be tricky, so a reliable way of getting here is needed.
* To have a can-do attitude and be willing to step in and help out our team members when required.
