Our client dominates the UK metal industry, operating 18 independent service centres nationwide. From Chepstow, they supply high-value products into industries such as pharmaceutical, engineering, oil & gas, Formula 1, and aerospace.

It’s a lucrative, fast-moving market — and your ability to hunt down new business will directly impact your commission and career growth.

The Role: Business Development Representative

This is a proactive sales role where your mission is to identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities, as well as grow existing accounts into major revenue generators.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Business Development Representative:

* Prospecting and cold-calling to open new accounts
* Winning and developing business from existing clients
* Negotiating prices and terms to maximise profit
* Building long-term client relationships
* Managing your own pipeline and hitting ambitious targets
* Driving revenue growth for your desk
