Job overview An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Speech and Language Therapists to join the Sheffield Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Service working within the acute ward team. It is an exciting environment, working within a supportive and very friendly SLT team. The post available is 37.5 hours per week on a permanent contract. The successful candidates will be based in the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals SLT service working as members of the team providing SLT to the acute wards across three hospitals, the Northern General, the Royal Hallamshire and Weston Park. They will provide clinical Speech & Language Therapy to a defined specialised caseload as part of the SLT team. To specialise in the assessment and management of communication disorders and dysphagia To work efficiently as part of the team to ensure that patients receive timely and effective intervention for eating, drinking, swallowing and communication disorders. To contribute to seamless continuity of care for patients who are seen across speech and language therapy pathways.
