Document Services Manager
We are seeking a Document Services Manager to oversee operations at one of our repositories or related areas, and to line manage a team of up to eight staff members. The ideal candidate will have the potential for team management and development, or demonstrable experience in such roles.
As a custodian of over 1000 years of iconic national documents, the successful applicant will be highly motivated, able to remain calm under pressure, and experienced in delivering to deadlines. They will also be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a methodical approach.
The role involves working collaboratively with other repository managers in a busy environment to deliver essential services to approximately 37,000 annual visitors to the reading room.

This is an onsite role with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, plus overtime every third Saturday. Every six weeks, there will be later start times (e.g., 11am-7pm) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The position is full-time, but requests for part-time, flexible working, or job sharing will be considered based on operational needs.
