Overview
Role: Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements weekly, monthly, quarterly. Handling Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger, ensuring prompt payment processing and credit notes. Supporting Head of Finance with Credit Control. Make construction contract applications for payment. Job Costing. Accruals, prepayments, stock take/processing/valuations.
Responsibilities
* Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
* Assist in preparing financial reports and statements on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
* Manage Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger, ensuring prompt payment processing and processing of credit notes.
* Support the Head of Finance with Credit Control.
* Prepare construction contract applications for payment.
* Undertake job costing, accruals, prepayments, stock take, processing and valuations.
Qualifications
* Previous Purchase Ledger (PL) and Sales Ledger (SL) experience.
* Experience in preparing financial reports.
* Experience with accounting software and MS Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* A proactive attitude.
Hours
Hours of work are 8.45am - 5pm Mon - Friday.
