Your Role at a Glance
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:

Competitive Base Salary: Start with £40,178, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
*
Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.

Structured Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

You’ll be part of the Bournemouth cluster, covering beautiful areas like Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, and more. Enjoy the freedom of being out on the road, working through a clearly planned schedule of appointments—no reactive callouts, just organized, pre-booked work!
What to Expect
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and waiting for you. You’ll carry out:
* Routine servicing
* Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
* In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
* Member advice and recommendations based on your inspections
* Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
With a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and advanced diagnostics at your disposal, you’ll have everything you need to deliver quality work safely and confidently.

What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
