What You Will Do In The Position Sustaining Product Testing Investigates customer problems with existing products containing software or firmware reported by end-user, Sales, Marketing, Service Division or Engineering. Assists development engineers by reproducing defects reported by customers in a released product. Product Release Testing Designs and develops, maintains, executes, and reports internally on test cases for the various product releases. Aggressively performs black-box testing of released products or products under development to reveal defects and design problems. Manages defects throughout the life cycle of iterative software and hardware releases using TargetProcess. Defines and performs unit or automation tests on components and objects of a given firmware/software project. Uses test tools to assess the audio quality and data integrity of the products. Maintains knowledge of current and future Clear-Com and Trilogy projects. Performs all other job duties as assigned. What You Will Need To Succeed Qualifications Proven experience as a Test Engineer/Software Engineer. Experience with system testing, IP, networking, and SIP. The ability to create, organize, execute and verify complex test cases based on specifications delivered by design engineers. Thorough knowledge of testing methodologies and troubleshooting techniques for both software and hardware issues. Understanding of product life cycle including agile, waterfall, and V models. Experience of working in an Agile team an advantage. Understanding of automated testing using the latest tools available. Experience in writing programs in Python Proficient in communication and writing skills. Knowledge of Linux operating system internals an advantage.
