Your Role
Based in Bristol, you’ll dive into the world of sustainable heating by:
* Assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas boilers, heating systems, and heat pumps
* Working under the guidance of qualified engineers to develop your technical expertise
* Building problem-solving skills through real-world heating solutions
* Staying updated on industry innovations and sustainable technologies
* Learning to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
* Following health and safety regulations and company procedures
* Understanding the role of heat pumps and low-carbon technologies in achieving Net Zero
* Attending college sessions as part of your apprenticeship
* Maintaining accurate records of your work
* Providing excellent customer service on-site
What We’re Looking For
* Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English, Science, Maths, and ICT or Engineering
* A full UK driving licence
* A keen learner who is eager to ask questions and get involved
* Good written English skills
* An interest in engineering and low-carbon technologies like heat pumps
* Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills
* Basic computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
