We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant.
About The Role
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities
* Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be aware of changes impacting care and care plans, ensure new needs are met, and update records to reflect variations.
* Involve in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
* Support residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development where required.
* Act as a key point of contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, and with health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.

Our Ideal Candidate Must
* Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
* Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
