The Assistant Operations Manager role is a full-time position, 42 hours per week, on a 5 days out of 7 contract.
Responsibilities
* You will be responsible for Health and Safety/Facilities & Loss Prevention within the store, ensuring compliance across the store.
* You will need to provide an effective loss prevention service to both customers and staff within the store, including investigations, in-store systems and accident reporting.
* You must be a good communicator, able to develop relationships at all levels.
* You will be the main point of contact within the store for external operational contractors.
Qualifications
* Able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a fast-paced role within a similar environment.
* Have strong leadership skills.
* Flexible in this varied role.
* Be able to pay attention to detail.
* You must have the ability to remain calm and professional in all emergency situations and be able to react to operational emergencies.
* Have the confidence to promote Loss Prevention/Health and Safety across the store, be able to train the store team to increase loss prevention awareness.
* Have excellent organisational skills.
