Partner - Employment Law Location: Northern Ireland About the Role A leading Northern Ireland law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Law Solicitor at Partner level to join its growing Employment Law Department. The successful candidate will be a trusted adviser to clients, providing guidance on a wide range of strategic and operational employment matters. You will work closely with human resources departments and management teams, helping to shape, implement, and maintain employment policies and practices while navigating a constantly evolving legal landscape. Key Responsibilities Advise and represent clients in tribunal and High Court proceedings. Draft, review, and maintain contracts, service agreements, policies, and handbooks. Provide training and guidance to management on discrimination, employment law updates, and HR best practice. Advise on trade union recognition and industrial relations matters. Support clients with employment aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. Deliver practical, solution-focused advice to manage risk and resolve employment issues efficiently. Candidate Profile Proven experience in employment law at a senior level, ideally with exposure to complex tribunal and High Court matters. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to provide pragmatic, results-driven advice. Experienced in drafting, advising, and training on HR policies, contracts, and procedures. Excellent client relationship skills, capable of advising both public and private sector organisations. Track record of business development and contributing to the growth of a legal practice is highly desirable.
