Job Details
This role is in support of Cencora's veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business. MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, offering animal health services globally.
Responsibilities
* To analyse trading performance and profitability trends
* To work closely with key business partners to help prepare budgets and forecasts, and develop insights into over/under performance
* Identify and quantify risks and opportunities and provide insight to stakeholders regarding those influencing factors
* Provide business insights to key business partners through reporting and dashboards
* You will play a key role in this by understanding the pinch points in current abilities to self-serve data in the team’s partner, and aim to deliver a solution
* Support other critical Corporate Finance deliverables including quarter-end deep-dive analytics and assist in the preparation of materials for the quarterly Earnings process
* Follow all appropriate Sarbanes Oxley Procedures
* Pro-actively identify process improvements and work with the necessary teams to implement them
General
To undertake other FP&A tasks as can be reasonably expected to be performed including, but not limited to:
* Assistance to Head of FP&A, Financial Controller or Senior Leadership team
* Understand and comply with job relevant, Companies Practice Standards at all times
* Understand the Companies standard operating procedures and attend training sessions as appropriate
This is a hybrid role with 1 day in the Castle Cary Office.
Qualifications & Attributes
* Qualified accountant PQE or QBE
* Relevant experience in similar FP&A Business Partnering positions
* Demonstrable financial acumen, including deep familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis, as well as in root cause data interpretation
* Experience in a Logistics / 3PL environment desirable
* A self-starter with the ability to prioritise
* Strong commercial and business acumen
* Ability to identify, evaluate and understand a problem and be part of delivering the solution
* Experience building forecasts and targets
* Expert with Excel
* Strong relationship building skills
* Ability to see the bigger picture for the business and not get wrapped up in small details
* Strong communication skills and the ability to inform and influence
* Extremely curious - not satisfied with easy or convenient answers; drives to understand issues at the root cause
* Experience of SAP is highly advantageous, good experience with BI tools also preferable
* Prioritise and work towards multiple deadlines
* Ability to quickly identify, evaluate and understand a problem and be part of delivering the solution
