This international engineering consultancy is looking to recruit an experienced in house Solicitor to join it's legal team in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This is a global, award winning business operating across civil and structural engineering, sustainability and building services. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established legal team which advises across the full spectrum of internal legal matters. In particular, this role will work closely with the Legal Director to assist with the review and management of the contractual arrangements on a variety of large scale projects. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in some contentious matters and support in the supervision and mentoring of more junior team members. The ideal applicant will bring strong commercial contracts experience, ideally in the context of construction and/or engineering projects, and is likely to have a minimum of 4 years PQE, potentially much more. The business is considering a range of levels for this appointment and has scope to recruit at a more senior level.
