Responsibilities:
Deliver effective, high-quality Psychology lessons at KS4 and KS5, ensuring the theory and practice of learning meet the needs of all students.
Monitor and assess student progress, using data to provide constructive feedback and ensure high levels of academic achievement.
Act as a Form Tutor, providing pastoral support and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and carers.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative resources and curriculum plans, including the creative use of ICT and Interactive Whiteboards.
Foster an inclusive environment, managing your classroom effectively to ensure safety, motivation, and high standards of behavior.
Requirements:
Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
Successful teaching experience at secondary level (teaching practice included), ideally in a multi-ethnic urban 11-18 setting.
Strong knowledge of National Curriculum requirements, lesson planning, and student assessment.
Excellent communication, time management, and ICT skills.
