Our ideal candidate will:
* Have proven experience as a Head Chef or be a strong Sous Chef ready to take the next step.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food and a flair for modern Scottish cuisine.
* Possess strong leadership and communication skills with an approachable, collaborative and hands-on style.
* Be a calm, organised presence in the kitchen with a focus on consistency and quality.
* Be flexible, with availability to work varying opening hours in line with seasonal peaks.
As Head Chef, you will:
* Lead the day-to-day operations of a busy kitchen, ensuring smooth service and first-class quality across brunch, lunch and dinner.
* Design and deliver seasonal menus that celebrate local produce and reflect the business’s commitment to quality and creativity.
* Manage purchasing, stock control, supplier relationships and kitchen budgets to maintain high standards and cost efficiency.
* Recruit, lead, train and motivate a dedicated team, cultivating a positive, collaborative and productive kitchen environment.
* Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, health and safety and allergen regulations.
* Work closely with front of house and management teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
