The Production Trainer (PT) is a people focused collaborator who is supportive of an inclusive environment, and plays a crucial role in ensuring that our operational team operate efficiently and adhere to the highest manufacturing standards. The P T owns the development, maintenance, and coaching of training materials for operational teams and is also responsible for the delivery of classroom and "On the Job (OTJ) Training” for operational employees when needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Proactively supports driving improvements in all aspects of Plant Operations performance, relating to quality, safety, productivity, engineering, maintenance, cost control, service to sales, employee training, engagement, and leadership development.
2. Aids in the continuous improvement of the plant safety and quality culture, including: completing hazard analysis and risk assessments on tasks; performing safety or quality audits, and reporting safety/quality concerns.
3. Leads the development of task instructions through colleague collaboration, and ensures the continuity of Standard Operating Procedures, Work instructions, Checklists, Qualification Cards and manuals.
4. Trains employees utilising the job training documentation, working alongside subject matter experts to ensure that “hands on training” is performed in accordance with documented procedures, including employee induction and onboarding.
5. Evaluates employee “readiness” through the established Competency Assessment Process.
6. Maintains full and accurate records, particularly the training database and Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS).
7. Perform audits to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs (including compliance to Kraft Heinz standard procedures) and collaborates with the Learning and Development Partner to present key training requirements to Operational Leaders.
8. Maintains up to date knowledge and understanding of production processes, production scheduling, regulatory requirements, quality, cost, delivery, safety and morale.
