Job Title: Payroll Officer (Temporary, Ongoing with Potential to Become Permanent)
Location: Crumlin
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join our clients team on a temporary ongoing basis, with the potential for a permanent position. You will be responsible for processing both UK and ROI payrolls in-house and supporting international payroll operations. This role requires precision, confidentiality, and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process all UK and ROI payrolls in-house accurately and on time.
2. Liaise with Bureaus, Accountants, and Finance teams regarding international payrolls.
3. Create and maintain staff records on payroll systems.
4. Generate reports from TMS to facilitate UK/ROI payments.
5. Execute payments via BACS or bank transfer.
6. Issue pay statements and statutory documents (,, etc.).
7. Administer Benefits in Kind (BIK) through UK payroll, submit HMRC returns, and provide BIK details (car/private medical) to staff.
8. Order and maintain childcare vouchers (CCVs) and associated administration records.
9. Assess staff for Auto-Enrollment pension scheme eligibility following each payroll.
10. Upload and pay all AE and GPPP contributions via Aegon online hub; reconcile and maintain contribution records.
11. Handle HMRC, CSA, NICO, and other statutory queries, and arrange payments as required.
12. Maintain HMRC Gateway online payments and statutory payment records (SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP).
13. Respond to employee payroll queries promptly.
14. Produce management reports as required.
Essential Requirements:
15. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
16. Proven experience in UK and ROI payroll processing.
17. Ability to work accurately under strict deadlines.
Desirable:
18. Payroll-related qualification.
19. Experience with international payroll.
