Parts Advisor Opportunity in Gloucester
1. Salary: Up to £28,089 starting salary, pending experience, with a £2,000 annual bonus potential
2. Hours: 8:00am-5:30pm Monday to Friday with one early finish during the week. Saturdays 8:30am-1:00pm on a rota
Our client, a franchise-approved car dealership located in the Gloucester region, requires a Vehicle Parts Advisor to join their busy Parts Department.
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and working as part of a small, friendly Aftersales Department team, you will be responsible for accurately identifying and promptly picking and supplying vehicle parts to our clients’ workshop staff to carry out vehicle repairs. You will also carry out parts stock control and audits, and deal with trade/retail customers regarding parts inquiries.
In order to be eligible, you will need to hold recent or current vehicle parts experience, ideally working within a franchise-approved automotive dealership; however, our client is also very interested in individuals from a motor factor background or similar experience dealing with automotive parts day to day. You will also need to be IT literate, given that you will work daily with an electronic parts catalogue system, hold a UK driving license with minimal points, and have strong customer service/sales skills with a friendly and charismatic telephone manner. Any experience with the Pinewood Pinnacle dealer management system would be highly advantageous, but is non-essential.
