Teaching Personnel are working alongside a thriving secondary school in Scarborough to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable IT Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2025. This is a long-term opportunity with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role:
* Teaching IT and Computer Science to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and interactive lessons
* Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve strong progress
* Working collaboratively with the department and wider school staff
* Participating in school-wide CPD and development initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching IT and/or Computer Science in UK secondary schools
* Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and exam board requirements
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
