We are seeking a dedicated Criminal Justice Recovery Worker to join our team at Magdalene House in Exeter. This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals at a pivotal point in their lives and contribute to safer, healthier communities. About the Role As a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker, you will play a key role in guiding individuals through their recovery and personal development journey. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting holistic assessments that explore each person’s unique needs and circumstances Providing tailored one-to-one support, helping individuals address underlying challenges Designing and delivering effective care packages focused on preventing first-time or further offending Working collaboratively with a wide range of individuals, partners, and agencies to ensure comprehensive, joined-up support Hours: Primarily Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with occasional flexibility required. About You We are looking for someone who brings: A genuine passion for criminal justice, rehabilitation, and community wellbeing Strong assessment skills, with an ability to understand and respond to individual needs Excellent communication skills, enabling constructive engagement with diverse individuals A problem-solving mindset and the ability to create impactful, person-centred support plans Empathy, resilience, and a non-judgmental approach when supporting vulnerable people If you’re motivated by helping others, committed to empowering change, and ready to make a positive difference, we encourage you to apply.
