Smile Education are currently recruiting for multiple Teaching Assistants to support two welcoming primary schools in and around the Burton upon Trent area. These opportunities include a mix of SEN support roles and General Early Years Teaching Assistant positions.

The Roles
You will be supporting pupils across Early Years and Key Stage 1, either within the classroom or on a one-to-one basis. SEN roles will involve working closely with children who require additional support, while general TA roles will focus on assisting the class teacher and supporting whole-class learning.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom
Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils
Assisting with Early Years development and activities
Supporting children with additional needs (where applicable)
Promoting a positive, safe, and engaging learning environmentRequirements
Relevant qualification in childcare, education, or TA support (preferred)
Recent experience working in a primary school or Early Years setting
Experience supporting SEN (for SEN-specific roles)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)What We Offer
