The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School is looking for self-employed teachers to deliver peripatetic music lessons to our pupils. The particular focus will be teaching string instruments.
Responsibilities include:
* Working alongside the head of department to raise the profile of Music at Wiseman School
* Delivering one-to-one singing lessons to students from all year groups
* Preparing students for graded instrumental examinations
* Preparing GCSE students for completion of coursework performance
* May include in the future, further opportunities to lead ensemble activities
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
* A high level of expertise as a string teacher
* Experience delivering one-to-one lessons to students of secondary school age This will be tested before appointment.
* Experience of working as part of a team within educational institutions
* Familiarity with the performance requirements of GCSE
