Science Teacher – Barnsley We’re working with schools across Barnsley ahead of the new academic year to identify Science teachers for longer-term opportunities. These roles are expected to start once schools reopen in September and are ideal for teachers looking to make a sustained impact in a supportive environment. For those open to short-term work in the meantime, we may also have flexible supply options such as Cover Supervisor roles available. What you’ll be doing: Teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 pupils Delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that support pupil progress Supporting learners with a range of needs and abilities Creating a positive classroom culture and contributing to school life What we’re looking for: Qualified Teacher Status Experience teaching Science in secondary settings A professional, proactive, and adaptable approach An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Pay: All roles are paid to scale, with final rates confirmed directly with the school before placement.
