FX Trade Support (Vanilla FX/ OTC Structured FX & OTC Interest Rate Swaps)
Martis Search are representing a City of London based, but global Trading institution to hire a multi-asset class FX Trade Support Analyst.
This exciting role based on a Trading Floor (sitting next to multiple FX and IRS Sales and Traders). Our clients trade very high volume both Vanilla FX (FX Spot/ FX Forwards), but also more complex FX Derivatives in the form of “OTC Structured FX” trading. The role in question support London but also global Front Office FX and IRS Sales and Trading desks, so this is such a great learning opportunity.
Our client is looking for a numerate graduate with a minimum of 2-years FX Trade Support/ FX Middle Office/ FX Operations experience gained for a reputable and high volume Trading “Sellside” (Institutional clients) Trading Investment Bank, or Brokerage.
The aim of our client is for the chosen incumbent to start off and learn the ropes within their high-volume Vanilla FX (FX Spot/ FX Forwards) Trade Support team and over time be exposed to the more complex OTC Structured FX and OTC Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) trades.
The role offers a healthy mix of BAU day-to-day Operations, as well as related project work and having an aptitude to code i.e. Python, VBA, or SQL is also highly advantageous. Any coding experience is advantageous, plus someone who is willing to commit to performing within and learning a multi-asset class Trade Support/ Operations role.
FYI, this is not a stepping-stone into the Front Office. Our client is looking for someone who solely wants a career in Operations and Trade Support.

The role is based on the trading floor and due to the success and growth in the business, our client does prefer people to be in the office x 5-days per week. There will be instances whereby you can work-from-home, especially the more experienced to you in the role, but due to the pace and complexity of the role responsibilities, our client would prefer someone who is committed to being in the office.

50,000 k pa - £70,000 k pa, dependent upon experience, plus good bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
