We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. Duties Supervise and coordinate all bar and restaurant activities to ensure smooth operations. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to maintain quality standards. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards across all areas. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently. Serve as the point of contact for customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality service, including serving customers when necessary. Organise promotional events or themed nights to boost sales and enhance customer engagement. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the bar area in accordance with hygiene standards. Qualifications Proven supervising experience within a hospitality environment, ideally in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen experience. Experience in serving beverages and understanding of barista practices is desirable. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Previous experience in hospitality roles such as restaurant experience or hotel experience is advantageous. Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery.
