What You’ll Be Doing Join our dynamic accounts team and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly! As a Purchase Ledger Administrator, you’ll ensure that every invoice and payment reflects the true cost of doing business, helping us maintain financial accuracy and build strong supplier relationships. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will: Own the invoice process: Accurately process and enter around 500 invoices per month using OCR technology, driving efficiency and precision. Keep suppliers happy: Ensure timely and accurate payments through our automated system, while maintaining up-to-date supplier bank details. Stay on top of reconciliations: Perform regular supplier statement checks to keep accounts balanced and error-free. Be the problem-solver: Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries quickly and professionally. Collaborate and adapt: Thrive as a team player while confidently managing tasks independently when needed. Support where it counts: Provide ad hoc assistance to the wider finance team and contribute to other payable functions as required. You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative finance team that values flexibility and encourages involvement beyond your core responsibilities. With our strong track record of 95% on-time supplier payments, you’ll contribute to maintaining excellence while gaining exposure to innovative processes such as the rollout of automated payment systems, OCR-based invoice processing, and our live statement reconciliation software.
