Contract Test Technician - Dyno / Motor TestingNorwich, Norfolk | 3 month Contract (likely extension) | Up to £55ph, outside IR35 | Overtime Available | Start ASAPThe RoleA specialist electronics engineering client of ours is looking for an experienced Test Technician to join their team on an urgent contract basis. You'll be at the heart of their motor testing operation - setting up and running dynamometer tests on electronic / electric drive systems and motors, working closely with engineers to ensure accurate, reliable results.This is a hands-on role with real variety: from configuring test rigs and motors through to monitoring data acquisition systems, validating outputs and supporting troubleshooting on upgraded dyno platforms. If you're someone who takes pride in doing things properly and can hit the ground running in a technical environment, this is worth a look.What You'll Be DoingSetting up and executing rotational dynamometer (dyno) tests on electric motors and drive systemsConfiguring motors, test rigs and associated equipment ahead of test runsOperating and monitoring data acquisition systems throughout testingCapturing, recording and validating test data to engineering standardsSupporting fault-finding and debug activities on dyno systemsCollaborating with engineers across all stages of test executionWhat We're Looking ForPrevious dyno or test rig experience is strongly preferred, alongside an electrical or electronics bias.
