Business Intelligence Analyst – 36 hours

Do you have a sharp analytical mindset and a passion for turning data into insight? Are you confident using Power BI to produce meaningful reports that inform and improve services? BPAS is looking for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.
You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality data analysis, reporting and insight that drives performance, informs planning, and helps shape services across our organisation. This permanent, full‑time role works 36 hours per week Monday to Friday. It is a hybrid arrangement – you will attend the Head Office in Leamington Spa 1‑2 days a month.
Main Duties
* Extract, transform and load (ETL) data from a range of systems and sources.
* Develop and maintain data visualisations and dashboards in Power BI.
* Provide training and support to users of dashboards and reporting tools.
* Analyse and interpret complex datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency and meaningful insight.
* Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and internal governance policies.
* Identify and support improvements in reporting frameworks and data infrastructure.
* Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver practical, user‑friendly outputs.
* Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in business intelligence, analytics and data visualisation.
About You
The successful candidate will hold a degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field and have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar BI, analytics or reporting role. You should excel in Power BI for designing and developing reports, including hands‑on experience in data modelling and SQL querying.
Your strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving abilities and excellent interpersonal skills will be crucial in effectively communicating insights and recommendations to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* Knowledge of GDPR and experience working within data governance frameworks.
* Experience working directly with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.

Salary, Hours & Location
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 09:00–17:00, Friday 09:00–15:30.
Location: Hybrid working with travel to Head Office in Leamington Spa approximately 1–2 days per month (travel is not reimbursed).
