Randstad Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in a Conwy Secondary School starting ASAP. Experience working with children is essential. A strong knowledge of ALN is desirable. The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this role.

Responsibilities
* Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide support during lessons
* Provide general support to the class teacher, such as setting up the classroom for lessons
* Support pupils with ALN and develop strategies to meet their needs
* Liaise with the class teacher and relevant professionals to discuss pupil progress
* Assist with lunch and break duties when needed
* Report any safeguarding concerns to the ALNCo
Requirements
* Previous experience working in Education or a similar role
* Experience with ALN
* Level 2/3 Childcare qualification (desirable)
* Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to obtain)
* EWC registration (or willingness to obtain)
* Welsh speaker
