About The Role
Checkatrade is the go-to marketplace for trades and consumers, aiming to be the trusted foundation of every home. We seek a Senior Marketing Analyst to drive data-driven insights and optimisations, enhancing digital marketing performance and audience engagement across our business.
Key Responsibilities
1. SEO Optimisation: Assist in implementing SEO strategies, including keyword research, competitor analysis, and website performance tracking. Conduct detailed analyses of search performance to uncover growth opportunities.
2. Digital Marketing Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of digital campaigns across PPC, social media, email, and other platforms. Provide actionable recommendations to improve ROI and engagement metrics.
3. Conversion Funnel Optimisation: Analyse and report on customer journey data to identify drop-off points and propose improvements. Collaborate with teams to implement and test solutions that enhance conversion rates.
4. Advanced Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and marketing effectiveness. Share insights with stakeholders to inform data-driven decisions.
5. Audience Segmentation and Targeting: Support marketing campaigns through data segmentation and targeting strategies. Assist in creating and managing audience personas for personalised outreach.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to ensure alignment on analytics and reporting needs. Partner with external vendors to enhance data quality and tracking tools.
7. Data Governance: Maintain high standards of data accuracy, quality, and compliance. Protect sensitive data and assist in evaluating the Data Retention policy.
What do you need to succeed?
1. Degree in marketing, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
2. 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics, focusing on digital channels.
3. Familiarity with SEO, CRO, and customer journey analytics.
4. Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Braze).
5. Strong communication skills to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
6. Technical marketer capable of interpreting marketing data and requirements.
7. Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, SEMrush, and marketing automation platforms.
8. Fluent in SQL; Python skills are a bonus.
9. Ability to challenge requirements and identify synergies across marketing requests.
10. Experience with B2B marketing campaigns is advantageous.
11. Strong analytical skills, with expertise in data mining and matching.
