Purpose of the Role
Support the organization and achieve its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
* Identify and analyze business problems and client requirements that require change within the organization.
* Develop business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
* Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
* Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
* Prepare reports on project progress to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
* Create operational and process designs that ensure solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
* Assist with change management activities, including developing a traceability matrix to ensure successful implementation and embedding of solutions.
* Advises and influences decision‑making, contributes to policy development, and takes responsibility for operational effectiveness.
* Collaborate closely with other functions and business divisions.
* Lead a team performing complex tasks, using professional knowledge to deliver impactful work.
* Set objectives, coach employees, conduct performance appraisals, and determine reward outcomes.
* For individuals with leadership responsibilities, demonstrate behaviors that create an environment for colleagues to thrive: Listen, Energise, Align, and Develop.
* For individual contributors, lead collaborative assignments, guide team members, and identify cross‑functional methodologies to meet outcomes.
* Provide counsel on complex issues and support resolution of escalated matters for People Leaders.
* Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop policies or procedures to strengthen controls.
* Perform work closely related to other areas, requiring coordination to achieve organizational objectives.
* Collaborate with other areas to maintain alignment with business activity and strategy.
* Engage in complex data analysis from multiple internal and external sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
* Communicate complex information, including sensitive content, to varied audiences.
* Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences.
* Experience translating business needs into concise requirements.
* Understanding of data and records management in a financial institution, including potential business impact of errors.
* Experience with scaled Agile ways of working and tools such as Jira.
* Experience in stakeholder engagement and building collaborative relationships.
* Experience using AI to enhance and optimise business processes.
* Other valued skills: risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technological expertise.
