We are currently seeking a dynamic andexperienced General Manager to join our team on a temporary basiscovering a maternity position.
The successfulcandidate will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our spaoperations ensuring the delivery of exceptional service andmaintaining our reputation as a premier destination for relaxationand indulgence.
As the General Manager you willoversee a team of dedicated professionals driving performance andfostering a positive and collaborative workenvironment.
Tasks
* Leadershipand Team Management
* Provide strong leadershipto a team of up to 20 staff members including spa therapistsreceptionists and support staff.
* Set clearexpectations and goals for the team and ensure alignment with thespas vision and values.
* Foster a culture ofexcellence teamwork and continuous improvement promoting a positiveand supportive workenvironment.
Requirements
Qualificationsand Experience
* Provenexperience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a dayspa or hospitality environment.
* Strongleadership and management skills with the ability to inspire andmotivate a diverse team.
* Excellentcommunication and interpersonal abilities with a focus ondelivering exceptional customer service.
* Solidunderstanding of spa operations including scheduling inventorymanagement and regulatorycompliance.
* Demonstrated track record ofachieving financial targets and driving businessgrowth.
* Flexible availability includingevenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of the business.
OperationalExcellence
* Oversee allaspects of spa operations including scheduling inventory managementand facility maintenance.
* Ensure efficient andsmooth daytoday operations optimizing resource utilization andmaximizing productivity.
* Implement and maintainhigh standards of cleanliness hygiene and safety throughout thespa.
Guest Experienceand CustomerService
* Uphold thehighest standards of customer service ensuring that guests receivea warm welcome and personalizedattention.
* Monitor guest feedback andsatisfaction levels and take proactive measures to address anyissues or concerns.
* Continuously seekopportunities to enhance the guest experience and exceedexpectations.
FinancialManagement
* Develop andmanage budgets forecasts and financial reports with a focus onmaximizing revenue and controllingcosts.
* Identify opportunities for revenuegrowth such as retail sales package upgrades and promotionalevents.
* Implement strategies to driveprofitability and achieve financialtargets.
Marketing andPromotion
* Collaboratewith the marketing team to develop and implement effectivemarketing and promotional campaigns both online andoffline.
* Utilise social media platformsincluding Instagram ((at)theginspa) to engage with customersshowcase spa offerings and attract newbusiness.
* Monitor market trends and competitoractivities and recommend strategies to maintain a competitiveedge.
