Teaching Personnel are working closely with primary schools in the NP20 area who are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their teams. This role is ideal for someone with experience in education or childcare settings, including schools, nurseries or similar environments, where transferable skills can be used to support pupils effectively.

About the Role:
* Support pupils across the classroom and in small groups
* Provide 1:1 support where required, including pupils with ALN/SEN
* Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom routines
* Promote positive behaviour and help pupils stay engaged in learning
* Adapt support strategies to meet individual needs
* Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting (schools, nurseries, early years, support work, youth work, etc.)
* Confident working with pupils of varying abilities
* Calm, patient and proactive in the classroom
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to support pupils with additional learning needs
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
