PART 3: Principal Responsibilities
12. Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures within your work. Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and/or team members who report into you
13. Responsible for overseeing a team of Field Surveyors for a large fixed line telecoms project
14. Responsible for supporting the administrative and operational leadership of the project within the project guidelines as defined by the Design Manager
15. Responsible for the team in meeting deadlines and adhering to project schedules
16. Responsible for ensuring team deliverables are met
17. Ensuring appropriate training is given to new and current Field Surveying staff in a structured program to maximize their efficiency as early as possible
18. Ensure adherence to appropriate quality control procedures
19. Communication and liaise with our client in a professional manner, meeting their needs along with Actavo’s needs
20. Review and audit the work of Field Surveying staff to ensure errors and inefficiencies in data collection are identified and corrected/eliminated through guidance or further training. Working with the QC team to drive learnings and isolate issues
21. Overseeing the appropriate trackers for assigned team tasks
22. Responsible for the approval of time sheets for allocated Field Surveying staff and the allocation and approval of targets & KPIs appropriate to each project task
23. Co-ordinate and allocate team tasks and work areas to maximise efficiency and timelines
24. Resolve or escalate any site issues, data discrepancies, site access challenges from the field crews in a timely manner
25. Taking an active role in ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times, leading toolbox talks, escalating issues and risks, performing site SHEQ audits and leading by example in all matters on the project
PART 4: Person Specification Experience
26. Minimum 5 years’ experience working in telecoms
27. Experience in Dublin area HFC build highly preferred
28. Management or supervisory experience

Technical
29. Experience with ArcGIS or similar survey & design platform preferred
30. Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and MS Teams
