Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager to oversee operations across multiple stores in our business.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in management, strategic planning, and business development preferably in the restaurant/fast food takeaway business.
This role is critical in driving performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence across the stores you are assigned to oversee.
Duties
* Lead and manage daily operations across multiple stores to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
* Support the Operations Manager with the development and implementation of strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive profitability.
* Ensure that stores in your area adhere to all Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements.
* Ensure that OER and FS standards are adhered to 365 days of the year.
* Oversee profit & loss management for the area, ensuring food and labour target are met.
* Supervise and mentor Store Managers and other team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and that drives workflows.
* Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with company goals and timelines.
* Drive sales initiatives signed off by the company.
* Support Managers with recruitment and training to ensure that your stores have the right people in place at the right time to offer the best product and service to our customers.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations of your direct reports and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Ensure that stores in your assigned area have systems and processes in place that drives and promote good customer service 365 days of the year.
Experience
* Proven experience in a management role with a focus on supervising teams.
* Proven experience of overseeing stores in a similar setting.
* Strong background in strategic planning and business development.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of motivating teams to achieve results.
* Experience in profit & loss management, with an understanding of financial metrics.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
* Knowledge of process improvement techniques that enhance productivity and efficiency.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
