Maintenance Technician : Electrical

Pay Rate: A GBP 21.60 per hour + Shift Allowance
An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician : Electrical to join a manufacturing environment, supporting the efficient operation of production machinery, electrical systems, and automated equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician : Electrical
* Attend machinery breakdowns, identify faults, determine root causes, and carry out effective repairs.
* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and TPM activities and accurately maintain maintenance records.
* Fault find and repair motors, drives, sensors, control circuits, and PLC:controlled equipment.
* Test, commission, and return equipment safely to production following maintenance activities.
* Support maintenance and fault:finding activities on robotic and automated production equipment.
* Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic system repairs and diagnostics.
* Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health and safety requirements.
* Work closely with production teams to improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
The Ideal Maintenance Technician : Electrical:
* Must hold a recognised electrical qualification such as Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds or equivalent.
* Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong electrical fault:finding and diagnostic skills.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
* Experience working with motors, sensors, inverters, and industrial electrical systems.
* Familiarity with PLC:controlled machinery and automated production equipment.
* Good problem:solving, communication, and organisational skills.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.
Working hours : 39 hours per week
Predominantly working on a day shift with the flexibility of working rotating shifts
* Early shift: 6:00am:2:00pm
* Late Shift: 2:00pm:10:00pm
