Corporate and Commercial Solicitor
Location: Cheltenham & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (initial on-site expectation)
About the Role
A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Corporate and Commercial Solicitor with 5+ PQE to join a dynamic and growing team within a well-established, highly respected Cheltenham-based firm known for delivering strategic, commercially focused advice to businesses across the region and beyond. The firm has a strong reputation for supporting owner-managed businesses, SMEs and growing companies, with a culture that is collaborative, ambitious and relationship-driven.
You will have the opportunity to take ownership of a varied and high-quality caseload while playing a key role in the continued growth of the Corporate and Commercial team. The role will involve:
* Advising on share and asset sales and purchases.
* Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements, partnership agreements and joint venture agreements.
* Providing commercial contract advice across a broad range of sectors.
* Supporting business restructures and corporate governance matters.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with business clients and professional referrers.
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Be a qualified Solicitor with 5+ PQE in Corporate and Commercial law.
* Have strong technical expertise and confidence managing transactions independently.
* Demonstrate commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic, strategic advice.
* Be comfortable engaging in networking and business development activities.
* Show ambition to contribute to the ongoing growth of the department.
