We are seeking a Director of Client Development to join our Portsmouth-based team, serving the construction industry with IT systems and payroll solutions.
Role Description
We are looking for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial professional who will start by leveraging existing senior relationships in the construction sector to introduce our services and generate profit quickly. The initial goal is to fund hiring your first team member to create an A-player squad, with plans to scale and replicate. This is a full-time role involving outbound outreach, networking across construction sites, presenting to senior board-level directors, attending networking events, and occasional overnight stays. A proven sales track record in construction and solid industry connections are essential.
Responsibilities
* Develop and grow the client base within the construction sector.
* Initiate and manage sales cycles end-to-end, including outreach to senior decision-makers.
* Present services to board-level directors and at industry events.
* Build and lead a high-performing team as the business scales.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions and ensure profitability.
Qualifications
