* To undertake Tier 1 duties on the Tier 1 Medical rota, and function at a senior practitioner level, to provide autonomous clinical care.
* Assume a leading role and responsibility in evidence based clinical practice.
* To be a competent practitioner, leading innovation and demonstrating clinical expertise to a complex case load
* The post holder acts as a resource and advisor, providing expertise to the multidisciplinary team.
* To provide individualized family orientated care utilizing advanced clinical skills
* To support and facilitate the education and training of other members of the children’s and neonatal team, including doctors and nurses at all levels.
