Looking for a short-term contract where you can dive straight into meaningful work, enjoy hybrid flexibility and wrap up the week early on Fridays? This hands-on Financial Accountant role is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in a small, fast-paced finance team within a manufacturing business. Based between Camberley and Southampton (just one day a week in each office, three days from home), this is a perfect fit for a confident finance professional ready to take the reins and provide vital cover during a period of absence.Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for:
* Managing all areas of the finance function – accounts payable, sales ledger, payroll
* Preparing monthly financial statements
* Reporting reconciliations to invoice discounters
* Monitoring and managing tight daily cashflow
* Supporting and developing a small finance team
What you will need:
* Experience in a similar role, such as Financial Accountant / Financial Controller / Finance Manager
* Knowledge of dealing with invoice discounting / factoring
* To be analytical with strong attention to detail
* Immediately available and happy to commit to a short-term temporary role
* Accounting software skills – QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sap, Oracle
