About The Role

Contract Type: Fixed Term Initially

Hours: Part Time, TTO, 21 Hours per week

Number of positions: 1

Start Date: 20th April 2026

Salary: Grade 3 £24,404 to £25,183 per annum pro rata

We are looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our fantastic team. Previous experience of working within a school environment would be preferable but we will also consider applicants with transferable skills.


About the Candidate


Key responsibilities

* Assist with the admin team in maintaining an efficient, high-quality office service
* Support pupil welfare, including assisting with first aid and liaising with parents and staff
* Provide professional clerical support to the whole school community
* Undertake reception duties, including face-to-face enquiries and signing in visitors
* Processing purchases and invoices
* Provide general advice and guidance to staff, pupils and visitors
* Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and data protection at all times

The successful candidate will have

* A positive, can-do attitude and good teamwork skills
* A commitment to high standards
* The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
* Good communication skills and a friendly manner with children
* Experience in a school administrative/finance environment (desirable, but not essential)
* A current knowledge of school procedures
